Mining Management

From vehicle data to coordinated mine-site operations.

Mining Management is an integrated platform for managing mine-site operations. We connect excavators, haul trucks and loaders to a central control centre, bringing equipment data, operator workflows and AI-driven production planning into one operational system.

Onboard devices & operator tablets

Devices installed on the vehicles collect CAN Bus data from their electronic control units and send it to the servers alongside GPS positions. Our native Android application provides dedicated interfaces for truck, loader and excavator operators, supporting the full work cycle: empty travel, queuing, loading, loaded travel and unloading. Two-way communication connects the tablets with dispatchers: operators receive assignments, navigation and messages, and send task confirmations, status-change requests and field updates.

Telemetry & central SCADA control

The control centre brings fleet locations, operational states and vehicle telemetry together on SCADA and monitoring screens. Fuel consumption and fuel level, braking, torque, engine temperature and potentially unsafe usage help the operations team understand both production activity and equipment condition.

Custom sensors for field equipment

We also developed sensors for the vehicles operating on site. On excavators, the sensing system provides bucket-angle and digging-depth information. On haul trucks, dedicated sensors report the dump-bed position and tipping status. These measurements add a direct view of equipment activity to the vehicle data used by the operations platform.

Drone patrol & site anomaly monitoring

A separate drone-patrol mechanism monitors the overall condition of the mine site and checks for abnormal situations. This aerial view complements the vehicle-mounted sensors and telemetry, giving the control centre a broader perspective on field conditions beyond individual machines.

AI-driven dispatch & production planning

AI coordinates excavation planning and truck loading and unloading assignments. It uses operational data and vehicle condition to direct equipment, adapt the plan and optimize production automatically. The result is a connected workflow between the machines in the field, the operators and the central production plan.

Configurable rules & operational automation

A configurable rule engine turns live vehicle data into status changes, alerts and operational actions. Location, speed, destination proximity and equipment state can trigger transitions between travel, queuing and loading. Dispatchers can adjust rules as site conditions change, while loading queues, congestion and vehicle distribution are coordinated across the operation.

Site navigation & coordinated excavation

Site-specific maps and optimized routes guide operators to their assignments, with distance and estimated travel time visible on the tablet. The platform supports road and watering-route management, material and excavation-block selection, and split-excavation workflows across multiple excavators. Excavator operators can see approaching assigned trucks and track the remaining work for each block.

Safety, checklists & maintenance

Pre-shift checklists record vehicle and safety inspections before work begins. Operators can send an SOS with their location, while geofence and speed-limit alerts help dispatchers respond to field events. Scheduled maintenance, fault reports, maintenance-cost records and equipment availability are tracked alongside the production workflow.

Fuel management & refuelling coordination

CAN Bus measurements support automatic refuelling detection and consumption analysis by vehicle load state. When fuel is low, the system can create a refuelling assignment and direct the vehicle to an available station, taking distance and station workload into account. Refuelling completion feeds back into the operational workflow.

Fuel savings & operational efficiency

By coordinating vehicle assignments, reducing idle time and empty travel, and balancing loading queues, the solution delivered fuel savings and operational efficiency improvements of up to 60%, depending on site conditions and operating workflows.

Production KPIs & operational reporting

Operators and dispatchers can review loading rates against targets, cycle times, queue and manoeuvring times, active and idle periods, and trip counts. Split-excavation views show material, volume, tonnage and remaining quantities by block. Historical reports bring together fuel use, driving behaviour, equipment utilization and shift performance to support production decisions.

Connected platform & system integration

Live vehicle communication, server-side processing and web dashboards connect field operations with management. The platform includes user permissions, vehicle and shift management, configurable maps and rules, and APIs for integration with other systems. Its connected architecture brings operational monitoring, automated actions and reporting into a shared workflow.
